Aviation as an industry has so many ‘hidden’ printed marking devices! The initial requirement can often be interesting and challenging!

These specific DECALS are constructed to attach to Commissary Carts. For those outside the industry, this is the clunky metal cart that wheels up and down the easel and bumps your elbows.

They are actually extraordinarily well engineered devices. Control of inventory, tracking, movement of the these carts is crucial, operationally for the airline. Hungry passengers are not as much fun for our client!

The material and adhesive both required special consideration, as the surface they adhere to, is textured like fake leather, an uneven surface, still MUST have permanent adhesion. The numbering needs to be both 3 of 9 bar code to scan on & off the planes, and also human readable, so visual confirmation can be obtained as well. Finally, once the item is created, we completed with a full lamination on the DECALS, so they would not deteriorate when the carts are cleaned with chemical cleaners.
